A group of musicians with diverse backgrounds and influences, Kings County Funk Factory sprung up out of five friends’ desire to create an outlet for expression all their own: funky and smooth, with a through line connecting past and present; an expression of the city and borough they call home; a synthesis of funk, jazz, pop, soul, and more into one sound that just makes you want to groove along.
